The department has qualified and experienced faculty members; many of them are with Ph.D. degree. The research scholars in the department actively work in diverse emerging areas like VLSI, Digital Image Processing, Networking, IoT, Communication Networks, Quantum Computing,. The department is equipped with the state-of-the-art technology lab that includes a Centre of Excellence in IoT.
The department has always been proactive in organizing a variety of events that includes national and international conferences, workshops, FDPs and seminars. The department receives funds from government bodies for the conduction of seminars, STTPs and the like. A Funded Project on Antenna Design sanctioned by CABS-DRDO is in progress.
