  • B.Tech Automobile Engineering:
  • B.Tech. in Automobile Engineering is a four-year undergraduate program established in the year 1997 that offers insight and expertise on developing new concepts and procedures, manufacturing processes and design in the field of automobiles to formulate new models of products and refurbishing the existing ones with new age technology. Automobile Engineering is a branch of vehicle engineering, incorporating elements of Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Software and Safety Engineering as applied to the Design. The study of automotive engineering is to design, develop, fabricate and testing vehicles or vehicle components from the concept stage to production stage.   • Masters in Electronics and Communication Engineering with Specialization in Microelectronics and VLSI enables students to gain expertise in areas that include back-end and front-end microelectronics such as Processors and SoC design, Chip Design, VLSI CAD Tool Development, VLSI Device & Modelling, Microelectronics Technology & IC Fabrication, Embedded Systems, Machine Learning and Deep Learning for VLSI.
  • The DRDO collaborated and AICTE approved M.Tech. Course in Defence Technology (Communication Systems & Sensors) would infuse interest in students and motivate them to pursue their careers in research and development for defense and security to join the defense, PSUs and private defense industries.   • The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering established in the year 1992, has a long-standing tradition of excellence. The department is multi-disciplinary with faculty expertise ranging from power electronics, power systems, embedded systems, control systems, and applied electronics. The department regularly organizes activities and events to enhance the quality of education and upgrade the skills of faculty and students. The department has well established laboratories as well as good infrastructure to carry out research.
  • B Tech (EEE) is accredited by National Board of Accreditation for imparting Highest Quality of Education in India.
  • The department strives to develop as a center of excellence in R&D in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The department has one ongoing International funded project in collaboration with University of Leeds, UK and Royal Academy of Engineering, UK. In addition, the department has 9 Funded Research and consultancy projects worth 2.0 crores from major National funding agencies. Six patents are granted and four patents are published by our faculty. We provide innovative solutions to industries and focus on innovative product development.
  • In recent years, the development of new technologies like electric vehicles, smart grid, nanotechnology applications, have opened numerous opportunities to electrical engineers. Electrical and Electronics Engineering is a major contributor in the field of mechatronics, sophisticated smart vehicles and manufacturing sector. Electrical engineers can contribute to the interdisciplinary areas that require blending of mechanical engineering, control engineering, computer engineering, communications and electronics.   • DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY:
  • The Undergraduate (UG) program of Information Technology was started in the year 1998. The department has been re-accredited by National Board of Accreditation(NBA) since 2022 for a period of three years. The Department of Information Technology of Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science (HITS) provides high quality education programs by imparting comprehensive knowledge coupled with practical exposure, which is essential for software design, development and testing in the IT industry. The Department provides ample facilities in terms of software and hardware to enable the students to learn by doing. The curriculum is designed to cater to the needs of the industrial organization. It also enables the students to apply a design thinking approach to solve social and industrial problems.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • B.Tech Programmes: Candidates must have secured a minimum average of 60% or above in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) in the qualifying examination (+2 / Intermediate). The average is calculated based on these three subjects only.
  • B.Tech (Bio-Technology): Candidates must have obtained a minimum average of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics / Biology (PCB) in the qualifying examination (+2 / Intermediate).
  • High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University: Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at the A Level Examination, and English at the AS Level.
  • Students who have completed Class XII under NIOS must have completed Class X through regular schooling, or vice versa.
